About the Author
Larry Jeffus is a welder with over 55 years of welding experience, and he has his own well-equipped welding shop. In his welding career he has passed many welding certification tests in a wide variety of processes, positions, and on many different material types and thicknesses. Larry has provided welding and professional consulting services locally, nationally, and internationally to major corporations, small businesses, government agencies, schools, colleges, and individuals. He is a Life Member of the American Welding Society. Larry Jeffus has over forty years experience as a dedicated classroom teacher and is the author of several Delmar Cengage Learning welding publications. Prior to retiring from teaching, Professor Jeffus taught at Eastfield College, part of the Dallas County Community College District. Since retiring from full-time teaching, he remains very active in the welding community, especially in the field of education. He serves on several welding program technical advisory committees and has visited high school, college, and technical campuses in more than forty states and four foreign countries. Professor Jeffus was selected as Outstanding Post-Secondary Technical Educator in the State of Texas by the Texas Technical Society. Professor Jeffus has served for 12 years as a board member on the Texas Workforce Investment Council in the Texas Governor's office where he works to develop a skilled workforce and bring economic development to the state. He served as a member of the Apprenticeship Project Leadership Team where he helped establish apprenticeship training programs for Texas, and he has made numerous trips to Washington lobbying for vocational and technical education. Larry Jeffus holds a Bachelor of Science Degree and has completed post graduate studies.

Incredible. So so so comfortable and lightweight! My actual wedding ring was so bulky and inalways worried about scratching my toddler, this was the perfect answer for all my worries! Wore it all summer swimming, working out, playing with my daughter and dogs or even just house work! Will be buyin for my husband also!!!!

Recent neurobiological work investigating genetic, neurophysiological, and biomechanical processes has uncovererd important mechanisms involved in chronic and acute back pain.

About the Author
Robert J. Gatchel received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Wisconsin in 1973. Dr. Gatchel is currently Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Rehabilitation Science at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Professional Psychology and is on the Board of Directors of the American Board of Health Psychology. He has published 10 other books, as well as over 140 journal articles and book chapters. Dr. Gatchel is also the recipient of a Research Scientist Development Award from the National Institutes of Health. His primary clinical and research interests have been in the fields of health psychology and behavioral medicine, with a particular focus on the etiology, assessment, and treatment of chronic pain disability.
Dennis C. Turk is the John and Emma Bonica Professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Research at the University of Washington, Seattle. He is a founding member and currently serves on the Board of Directors of both the International Association for the Study of Pain and the American Pain Society. In 1993, Dr. Turk was the recipient of the Outstanding Scientific Contribution Award from the American Psychological Association, Division of Health Psychology. Dr. Turk has published 9 books and over 190 journal articles and book chapters.

This book is fabulous! I work with an ESL student and want to encourage her to talk, but I can never come up with good subjects. This book allows me to choose a subject like family or work, and gives a number of questions to ask to keep the conversation going. I plan to pick a different subject each week!!

I love the Sandy Anastasi System. It is educational, clear and simple to follow. She does an excellent job instructing from her experience, but equally highlights the areas other practitioners would differ allowing the reader to choose. Level 1 is a great foundational tool equipped with practical exercises to hone your skill sets.

This is THE one.

If you are looking for development of abilities, I do not believe there is a short-cut. If one is going to do it, I believe thorough understanding and basic building blocks are key. I have bought many, many books, CD's and taken many classes. Nothing compares to this system, in my opinion. Sandy Anastasi is IT. This is only level one. Much more info to follow. It takes discipline and focus and it is worth it if one is motivated. My opinion. More info on her website.

Great workbook!

You will be filled with tons of information on Psychic development how-to in this workbook! There is meditation execises and third eye exercises and the list just goes on and on. Sandy Anastasi was the only teacher that John Edward ever had and I say that says alot about this product.
